The single room 409 included a full-size mattress. There was an extra desk area available in the room. I found a full-length mirror in the entry along with a separate tub and shower.
The spa was expensive. It did not meet my expectations.

slow refills unappealing presentation
The breakfast service proved disappointing. I was not offered coffee and had to request it. Refills were slow, and obtaining milk took an unreasonable amount of time. Food was not replenished promptly, resulting in limited choices and a somewhat unappealing presentation (especially considering the high standards I hold).

My room on the sixth floor offered a fine view of the Royal Palace. The shower was particularly nice. I also found the bed quite soft. The coffee machine provided fresh coffee each morning.
The bar became very crowded in the evenings. Securing a seat required some patience.

The staff proved consistently excellent. The concierge was particularly helpful. She aided us with ferry bookings. Her assistance enhanced our travel plans significantly.

The hotel's central location suited our needs. It provided great access to shopping areas. Ferry services were also nearby. The location also allowed for convenient exploration of Gamla Stan.
